The Wedgle places the chemicals in the cambial zone, where it is used most effectively and improves the results from less chemical. The injection is only through the bark which does not damage the sapwood. And by injecting the chemical through the bark without drilling, no air enters the sapwood so the chemical is readily absorbed. The vascular system is undisturbed maintaining nutrient movement.
